The adolescent men in your life need you.

You are in their lives for a reason.

You are a living embodiment of 1 Thessalonians 2:8, “…so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” (New International Version)

Now more than ever, adolescent boys need older men in their lives to imitate. They need leaders, coaches, and mentors who will echo the words of the apostle Paul when he said, “Follow my example, just like I follow Christ’s.” (1 Corinthians 11:1, Common English Bible)

You might say, “That’s great and all, but…

• This is a heavy burden; how do I carry it?

• How do I lead the adolescent men in my life?

• Why does everything I try seem to fail?

• How can I get to the root of what is going on in their lives?

• Have I created a safe space for them to grow?

• How can I lead them to a healthy understanding of masculinity?

• How can I help them find meaning in their lives?
